The city mayor today directed the local authority to clean the streets near IT parks. All the streets are dumped with wastage from companies near IT parks...The whole area becoming hazardous now a days, Added to this a leather company near this area started polluting with their chemicals. If the cleaning is not done immediately people may face serious problems and diseases...Nowadays it’s very hard to find clean and green place to live. Sometimes I blame technologies for this bad killing pollution…

The padma vibushan award goes to madhavan (isro lead), bahuguna, anil, nirmala and the padma bhushan goes to writer jayakanth, shekar, prahlad.Aishwarya, dhoni, pankaj and aruna will receive padma shri award. It is very interesting that this time many scientists receiving this prestigious awards.

Anna University results will be published on 25-01-09.Vice chancellor announced pass percentage as 87%.The toppers will receive gold medals from Anna University soon. Students are requested to apply for revaluation within 20 days from the date of results. Send DD for Rs.500, drawn in favour of “controller for examinations” along with the application. Vice-chancellor advised colleges to boost pass percentage.
